About Jimmy Burch:

Jimmy began working at Central Station Marketing in January 2018 as a copywriter and copy editor. A Fort Worth native who lives in Arlington, Jimmy joined CSM after spending 35 years as an award-winning sportswriter/columnist at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. While at the S-T, Jimmy wrote about a variety of sports and business-related topics, with an emphasis on the Dallas Cowboys, the NFL, college football and PGA Tour golf. He also created hundreds of blogs and lots of other digital content, including videos, for the company's website. On each post, he was tasked with making sure all headers carried SEO value and that plenty of attention-grabbing keywords were included to maximize digital hits.

Since joining the team at CSM, Jimmy has helped launch dozens of websites by writing original copy, tweaking existing copy and formatting pages and images into the desired design for our clients. Jimmy’s introduction to the Internet came in 1991 when the Star-Telegram debuted its first online product, called startext, to reach digital readers around the world. Ever since, Jimmy has been creating web-related content and continues to do so for CSM.

As a homeowner since 1985, Jimmy is familiar with the ins and outs of the home service and restoration industry. He’s repaired and replaced multiple HVAC units along the way, as well as dealing with the twists and turns of restoration work following home-related mishaps. So he understands the industry.

Jimmy earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas in 1982. He and his wife, Jana, celebrated their 35th anniversary in June 2018. They have two adult children, Jay and Julianne, and are active in church and community outreach projects.

Among his hobbies, Jimmy enjoys golf, scuba diving, hiking, traveling, photography, music, movies, craft beers, watching sports and spending time with family and friends. Included among their family members is an aquarium full of fish and Buster, the dog they adopted from the Fort Worth animal shelter in 2013.
